At the same time, professions related to physical labor, such as welders, are absent from the list.
If a year ago I would have enthusiastically reacted to the phrase "my son is going to study to become a programmer," now I don't even know what to say. It is particularly disheartening when someone wants to change their profession and become a programmer at 40+ years old.
