🫡 I have a complex client site: not template-based, with custom layout for each page, animated elements, hovers, transitions, and a bunch of tweaks over 10 years.
😵💻 The migration process has been going on for a week. Despite all the requirements for AI to visually check each page, I get a bunch of hallucinations and assurances that everything is copied accurately. I wrote scripts for comparison — they all come back saying it's one-to-one.
I gave the task to an employee to manually check — 12 mismatches of noticeable elements on different pages. All with screenshots and descriptions had to be fed into AI, and after implementation, I'll have to go through it again.
Conclusion: don't think AI will do everything for you. Don't trust them and double-check everything. So you don't have to blush in front of clients later.
