First, we went to free stock sites where you have to mention everyone and everything, then we moved to paid ones and discovered that the overwhelming majority of music being sold! is now generated...
We started generating ourselves, well, about one in ten turns out decent, the only thing we haven't figured out is duration. The vast majority of melodies are a couple of minutes max, and those that are longer come out too monotonous.
If we talk about generating actual songs with lyrics, it's more fun here - it turns out really cool :) you feed it any lyrics, specify the style - and you get an awesome track!
Anyway, in this post I'll save for myself an AI service where you can upload a melody you like and get a similar but your own one as output: https://suno.com
