Claude Code learned to work on schedule
The /loop command.
Write once: «/loop 1d review all open PRs and post summary».
Then it works on its own.
Technically it's just cron inside a session. But in practice it's a role change: from a tool waiting for a prompt — to a worker with its own workday.
Limitations are honest: it dies with the terminal, lives maximum 3 days. Anthropic intentionally didn't make it work forever.
Released March 9. The feature is new, but not raw — there are already ready patterns for CI/CD.
