🎬 Shooting videos and spending hours editing them? Now you can hand that off to Claude Code - video-use from the browser-use team https://github.com/browser-use/video-use
The scheme is simple: drop the raw takes into a folder, launch Claude Code or Codex in it and write "edit this into a product launch video". The agent watches the footage itself, proposes an edit plan, waits for your "ok" and delivers a finished final.mp4.
✂️ What it can do: cuts out the "umm"s, flubs and pauses between takes, does color correction, burns in subtitles in your style, adds animations and re-watches the result at every cut before showing it to you. It also remembers the project - a week later it'll pick up where you left off.
🧠 The trick is that the AI doesn't watch the video frame by frame (that's millions of tokens), it reads it as text: a word-accurate transcript plus images only in questionable spots. That's why the tokens don't go flying either.

It works best on talking videos: talking heads, tutorials, interviews. Music clips, action and fast-paced shorts editing are its weak spot, there's nothing to cut by. And transcription needs an ElevenLabs key, whose credits, people say, run out faster than you'd expect. The repository already has proposals to plug in the free Whisper, so let's wait :)
