Built the first version of a plugin for a client's website that catches click fraud — when a competitor (or bot) deliberately clicks your Google ads to drain your ad budget to zero. You pay for each click, but there's no customer.
The first version works based on simple indicators: it detects traffic from ads and monitors behavior. Suspicious IPs are collected into a report — then we ban them in Google Ads itself.
If it goes well, I'll add more powerful tools — I've studied the topic — and I might package it as an official WordPress plugin.
