When I learned about n8n, I was completely thrilled. I love programming, but I love solving the logic of the task even more, no matter how. And here — a click of the mouse and you have a Telegram bot, another click (well, almost) and you’re processing Google Sheets. Yes, sometimes things didn’t start with a kick, I had to Google, ask AI, and once I even ordered a custom module on freelance. But the system worked, tasks were solved.
Then I launched Claude Code on the same server where n8n was running, and I simply told it: dude, n8n is lying somewhere here, translate all scripts to Python and run them. Take the credentials from there. 10 minutes — all done.
Why did I do this? Because now:
— Full control. With one command, I expand the functionality of any bot or script. Without a mouse, without a visual editor.
— Monitoring. All scripts are included in the monitoring system — I get notified immediately in case of a failure.
— Minimum hardware requirements. Python scripts consume significantly fewer resources.
Do you need to switch from n8n? If it works and you don’t need to expand — let it work. Want control and expansion through vibe coding — you know what to do.
