I have acquaintances who live in Germany and recently created their service — briefify.de.
The thing is simple and at the same time very useful: Ukrainians in Germany receive letters from Finanzamt, Jobcenter, Krankenkasse — and half of them panic because they do not understand what is being asked of them and by what deadline.
Briefify addresses this directly. Upload a photo or PDF of the letter — receive a short analysis in Ukrainian (what kind of document it is, what to do, deadlines, risks) and a ready draft response in German. That's it.
I look at this and am happy for the guys. At the same time, I realize — such websites can now be created by anyone. One person + AI + a couple of evenings. OCR, LLM, upload form, Turnstile against bots — these are already ready building blocks, they just need to be glued together.
The essence is not in the technology, but in seeing a specific pain point for specific people and addressing it with one button. The guys succeeded.
